THE POWER THAT WORKS WITHIN US
There is so much that is part of God’s so great Salvation, it takes considerable time to take it all in, apply it to our lives and cooperate with the Holy Spirit to see it working out in our lives and daily walk with the Lord. Sadly, this can take so much longer to become a reality in our lives if we are not Biblically Discipled and Mentored in our Christian walk.
I want to draw your attention to an awesome verse in Eph. 3:20-21 NKJV Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
AMP.N.T. Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, can [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—
21 To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
PASSION Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.
21 Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen!
I am sure you will never forget that glorious day when you were born again, although it was hard to describe you just KNEW WITHOUT A DOUBT that something had happened in your life. We find out later the Holy Spirit had come to reside in you, and as you grow in grace you discover, that He wants to PRESIDE (be the President) CONTINUALLY IN US so that we can continue to grow.
We begin to realize that what Paul says here is that he is describing our glorious inheritance NOW (as a born again Believer) because the Holy Spirit who now dwells in us can do EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY BEYOND WHAT WE CAN ASK OR THINK as we let Him work in us and through us.
We do not have to be reminded that we still have a sinful nature, and must learn to CONTINUALLY SURRENDER our lives to the Lord, and have a lifestyle of letting the Holy Spirit continually fill our hearts.
This blog is a simple reminder that all the power we need IS IN US, (The blessed Holy Spirit) but we must learn to co-operate with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit so that we can believe BEYOND WHAT WE ASK OR THINK.
Come Holy Spirit I need Thee, Come sweet Spirit I pray, Come in Thy strength and Thy power, Come in Thine own gentle way. Amen.
