LET US EVER LEARN TO CO-OPERATE MORE AND MORE WITH THE LORD AND HIS WORD.
I just want to write a blog this a.m. to express my praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for ALL His blessing and goodness to me. Paul tells is Eph,1:3-6 NKJV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with EVERY spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He CHOSE us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having PREDESTINATED us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us ACCEPTED in the Beloved.
There is so much truth in these 3 verses, I would encourage you to meditate (and chew over) every word here.
We read in Rom.10:17 NKJV ‘that Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word (Rhema) of God’ We all know the Logos that is used much in the N.T. for the Word, but some people seem to not want to refer to the Rhema Word for some reason, even though Paul says here, that when the Holy Spirit quickens the Word of God to us it comes alive (drops from head to heart) and puts FAITH our hearts and becomes a SWORD in our hand Eph. 6;17 NKJV the sword of the Spirit, which is the word (rhema) of God.
In Eph.1;3 Paul not only tells us about God’s so great Salvation, but our glorious inheritance that is ours in Christ NOW and throughout eternity. May we constantly spend quality time in the Word of God and let the Holy Spirit cause the Logos word to become a Rhema word to us.
The exciting thing to me is that the Rhema Word becomes stronger the more we meditate on it.
Let me say here that we must keep the Word of God in balance and must not take a verse or verses out of context and suggest we have a special “revelation”, we must learn to let the Word of God WORK in us for God’s honour and glory.
May I remind you that we MUST CO-OPERATE WITH THE WORD OF GOD, we will only get the full benefit from the Word as we do our part and co-operate with the Lord and His Word.
For example, there are some Christians in my world, who regularly pray “Lord build Your Church” yet do not witness, or seem to have any burden to fulfil the Great Commission or have a burden for the Lost. Our God in His own Sovereign way and time do whatever He desires, but I am reminded of Teresa of Avila’s poem.
“Christ has no hands but yours, no hands, no feet on earth but yours, yours are the eyes with which he looks compassion on this world, yours are the feet in which He walks to do good, yours are the hands with which He blesses all the world, yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are His body, Christ has now body now but yours, no hands no feet on earth but yours, you are the eyes with which He looks , compassion on this world, Christ has no body now on earth but yours”.
LORD HELP US TO DO OUR PART.
There is an awesome scripture I want to highlight now.
Rom.8:37 NKJV Yet in all these things we are MORE than conquerors through Him who loved us.
As part of our glorious inheritance in Christ NOW, Paul tells us we are MORE than conquerors, what a Salvation plan God designed in eternity past for us, thank You Jesus for becoming the SACRIFICIAL LAMB, and thank You blessed Holy Spirit for your ministry within us to make this a reality.
BUT, once again WE MUST CO-OPERATE WITH THE LORD AND HIS WORD for this to be ours.
Here are some keys I am ever learning
GOD’S WORD IS UNCHANGING.
WE HAVE BEEN GIVE THE RIGHT TO USE THE NAME OF JESUS AGAINST THE ENEMY (THE DEVIL AND OUR SINFUL FLESH).
WE MUST CONTINUALLY SUBMIT TO GOD AND LEARN TO LIVE THE SURRENDERED LIFE AND THE DEVIL MUST FLEE FROM US.
WE MUST TAKE AND CONTINUALLY PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD.EPH.10-18 NKJV
THE HELMET OF SALVATION (TO PROTECT OUR MIND)
THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
WALK IN THE PEACE OF GOD
TAKE THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT. (THE RHEMA WORD)
TAKE THE SHIELD OF FAITH
PRAY IN THE SPIRIT
THEN WE ARE GUARANTEED WE WILL BE CONQUERORS AMEN
There is so much more in Eph.1-3 NKJV let every aspect of truth in these verses flood your heart.
