James has a lot to say about temptation and sinning in James 1: 12-15 NKJV  Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.   This is what the AMPLIFIED has to say:  Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.
Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted from God; for God is incapable of being tempted by [what is] evil and He Himself tempts no one.
But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire (lust, passions).
Then the evil desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death. 
I have felt to put these two translations in this blog,  please note,

TEMPTATION IN NOT THE PROBLEM

James say, be happy, when you are tempted and undergo trials, they didn’t come from God,  but our Sovereign God has surely permitted them for a purpose. The evil one is definitely  not happy with you, and wants to trip you up, but God’s grace is more than sufficient for you to endure without failing. Your reward will be the CROWN OF LIFE, which we will cast at His feet, for without Him we could not have endured and passed the test.

SEE HOW SIN IS CREATED IN A BELIEVERS LIFE.

• We choose to be drawn away,  the choice is always ours, we make the decision
• Our choosing causes a conception to take place
• The result of our choice is a sin is birthed
• If we continue to choose  this way it will produce spiritual death

In verse 16 James reminds us that the evil one is a “deceiver” and he wants to deceive us,   he doesn’t mind if you blame him for your sin, only bad things come from him, but Every GOOD gift and every PERFECT gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. verse 17 NKJV\

WHAT ARE SOME OF THESE GIFTS TO HELP US NOT SIN?

• 1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is FAITHFUL, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. Thank God He is always FAITHFUL there is always a WAY OF ESCAPE, we can come through the battle without a scratch.
• 2 Peter 1:3 NKJV as His divine power has given to us ALL things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue The MESSAGE says Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received!  The PASSION translation has this to say  Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited  in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.

I am sure Biblical Discipleship would sure help the new Believer in this area, the enemy wants to keep us in total ignorance. As Jesus is ever TRUE TO HIS NAME, HIS NATURE AND HIS PROMISES, we do not have to ever yield to temptation,, oh that all God’s people (including me) would coonstantly recognise the INHERITANCE WE HAVE NOW IN CHRIST, and lay hold of all that was accomplished through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
