About
John and Margaret were married in May 1965 and have been in ministry since then. Their two sons, Stephen Ollis and David Ollis have both married fine Christian girls and have five children between them. All the families live in Sydney.
John and Margaret pastored churches in various states of Australia for the first 22 years, and since 1987 have been involved in Bible College Ministry. John holds an earned Master of Missiology degree. Until September 2005, he was the Dean of Pastoral Care at Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney Australia. John has served as Vice-Principal and Academic Dean of Southern Cross College (formerly Commonwealth Bible College) – the Australian A/G National College, and as Principal of Assemblies of God Bible College in Singapore.
For over 30 years, John has been ministering regularly in South East Asia. Many years ago John had an experience in Hyderabad, India that radically changed his life, and gave him a heavy burden and vision for S.E. Asia. Combining this with his burden for Discipleship and Mentoring, he has entered a new ministry phase. In September 2005, he concluded full-time ministry at Hillsong College and commenced lengthy trips to the S.E. Asian region.
John and Margaret now live in a retirement Village in the Latrobe Valley town of Moe. They are actively involved in teaching and preaching in their local church. Due to health reasons, John will travel less to focus on teaching leaders through this blog. You may write to him via the Contact Form.
