HAVE YOU A VISION,PLAN AND GOALS SET FOR 2024?

Summer holidays are now over here in Australia, and children are back at school, and local church life is starting up. I wrote recently about setting goals and having a vision and plan for this New year, let me emphasise it again today in this blog. Let us look at it from personal spiritual plan, and a ministry plan.

PERSONAL

Do I plan to deepen my intimacy with the Lord in 2024?

Do I plan to spend more time reading and meditating on the Word of God?

I am sure I could broaden these 2 plans massively, but they both require organisation and planning, It simply won’t happen unless we spend some time looking at our daily and weekly program. It is can be quite surprising that we can find that extra time, even if it is short, but we make it QUALITY TIME, the results can be beyond our wildest dreams, Remember the glorious promise in James 4:7-8 NKJV Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. ⁸ Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

PASSION So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will turn and run away from you. ⁸ Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. James 4:7-8.

Ask the Lord to help you, and this will truly happen in your life amen.

MINISTRY

Every Believer is called to fulfil a ministry or ministries, in the body of Christ and especially in the local church. Have you a Mentor? has he ever talked with you about this? have you felt the Holy Spirit’s prompting to “explore” a ministry? He has placed withing you many gifts and talents that He want you to use to bless His people. Don’t rush in, talk to your mentor, or find one and start relating to him, and see the Lord open a door of ministry for you this year.

Are you retired? or have extra time on your hands? use that extra time for the Glory of God and the extending of His Kingdom.

You may be in full time ministry, as a Pastor, Teacher, or an Evangelist, it is time to plan and vision for MUCH MORE FRUIT THROUGH YOUR MINISTRY IN 2024.

Are you hearing the Lord speaking to you through His Word, are you letting the Holy Spirit quicken His Word, so it becomes THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, to you personally and as you preach and teach the Word, people are going to be impacted and they will respond to the Word, so that more signs and wonders will follow your ministry in 2024. The greatest signs are people being convicted of their sin and being born again, and Believers challenged to deepen their walk with the Lord.

These are naturally speaking very difficult days for the Church, but we are promised in Acts 1:8 NKJV But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

AMP.N.T But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

PASSION But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power. And you will be my messengers to Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces —even to the remotest places on earth!”

That moment we were born again, the Holy Spirit came to reside in us, and as we learn to continually surrender to Him and let Him be the PRESIDENT of our lives, we will experience more of the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through our lives, and anoint our ministry for the Lord.

Once again, there is nothing new in this blog, but may the Holy Spirit take these simple words, and speak to your heart. My prayer for you is that this year will be more blest and fruitful than ever before.
