A BRIEF UPDATE

We have been in Sydney less than 48 hours, and so much seems to be happening in my life. I had decided not to bring my laptop and give my readers and myself a break for a week. So I am going to write a brief update using my smartphone.

We personally, the Church and the world is in a “season” of some kind, our Sovereign God has a unique and special plan for all in these and I guess many other spheres. I have been in a “season” for a couple of weeks and in all honesty have not been handling it well. There has been far more defeat than victory. What is and has been so precious has been the tangible manifest presence of the Lord during this time (despite the defeats) I am so thankful to the Lord for this, and God helping me I don’t ever want to take it for granted. I request your prayer support at this time. Secondly I have been so blest by a number of posts written recently by Pastor Steve Penny, two are titled “Dangers facing the 21st century church”. Steve has a prophetic mantle resting on him so what he says comes forth very powerfully. I am encouraged because he is saying things that I have tried to articulate for some time, and I am very aware “I am not a prophet or a son of a prophet”

I also received an email late last week from a dear missionary friend to China (for 50 years) who shared some concerning things regarding persecution of the Church in China, and also the technological advances that are happening there, that is blowing this old man’s mind.
