FURTHER TO MY PRAYER REQUEST

By John Ollis

Further to my “Prayer Request” blog this morning, the Lord has dropped some further thoughts into my heart which I thought I would share with you. Perhaps I was feeling a little “faithless” when I requested prayer today, and I feel the Lord has kindly encouraged me. Not only did I feel I couldn’t handle the challenge on my own, but felt I needed to seek as much prayer support as I could get, so that the Lord’s YES would fully come to pass.

The Lord reminded me about His UNFINISHED WORK. We sure thank God regularly for the Lord’s finished work of dealing with the sin question once and for all and willingly taking the Father’s wrath upon Him so that mankind could have access to God again. But what is His unfinished work? we find this in Hebrews 7:15 NKJV Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since HE ALWAYS LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR THEM. Not only has Jesus said yes to my prayer request, (with a challenge that I must co-operate with) but He is going to intercede for me too, to see this come to pass Hallelujah. This brought to my mind a scripture we often use in a wedding service Ecclesiastes 4:12 NKJV And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. The MESSAGE Bible says A three-stranded rope isn’t easily snapped.

So, when we put together:

1: Jesus Interceding

2. Praying saints

3. Me praying

I am going to see this awesome prayer request totally fulfilled, TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY AMEN
