OUR GOD HAS AND WILL EVER BE FAITHFUL.

By John Ollis

Do you know how to be a “blubbering mess” in one easy lesson? Let me tell you. Just listen to the Brooklyn Tabernacle choir sing a couple of times the beautiful song written by I believe the Pastor’s wife “HE’S BEEN FAITHFUL” I have had it playing on my laptop and it has really blessed my soul as a I have pondered on God’s faithfulness to me.

I shout out Paul’s words to Timothy today 2 Tim.2:13 NKJV If we are faithless, He REMAINS faithful, He cannot deny Himself. The MESSAGE says If we give up on him, he does not give up, for there is no way He can be false to Himself.

The Prophet Jeremiah reminds in Lam. 3: 22-23 NKJV Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not, they are new every morning, GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS, “The Lord is my portion” says my soul therefore I hope in Him.

We have this glorious promise in Numbers 23:19 NKJV “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent, Has he said, and will He not do, or has He spoken and will He not make good.

We do not the ability to forget, and we sadly have been unfaithful many times, and will always have regrets when we did not take God at His Word (or simply did our own thing), but let me remind you today OUR GOD HASS ALWAYS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE FAITHFUL.

As we come to Him each day and because we know He won’t hear if we have sin in our hearts, we need to confess first, (Psalm 66:18 NKJV) and to have that awesome knowledge as recorded in Hebrews 13:8 NKJV Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is true to HIS NAME, HIS NATURE AND HIS PROMISES, ands despite WHATEVER WE HAVE SAID OR DONE IN THE PAST Jesus ever remains faithful.

Can you see why I have been a “blubbering mess” today as I have pondered on the GOODNESS OF OUR GOD. He also has given us His grace that we can faithfully walk with Him.

Reject any whispers of the evil one, WE HAVE 24/7 ACCESS INTO THE THRONE ROOM OF GOD, He is waiting to see us, and not only that we talk to Him, He wants to talk to us.

MEDITATE ON GOD’S FAITHFULLNESS TODAY.
