IT IS A GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE.
Before I continue the series The Bible God;s Word I want to make a comment on another matterWe live in the State if Victoria, where the City Melbourne and a surrounding Shire is under complete Covid19 virus shut down. There are over 5 million people in this area, fortunately we do not live in that area the news media is of course sure majoring on this matter. One could easily become overwhelmed at all this sad concerning news.
I want to comment and highlight that there are lots of good things happening in our world, and GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE RULING AND REIGNING IN THE AFFAIRS OF MEN. We sure don’t always know why God does what does, but His ways are always the BEST. Often it is only in hindsight, do we see God’s perfect Hand in a situation.
I would like to make a personal announcement, that I will very soon have my own website which will be called Boscoteachingand mentoring.com access to all my blogs will be much easier, and our ability to communicate with each other should be so much better.
There are three arms to my Ministry these days, Blogging, Mentoring and Intercession. and in the area of Intercession and prayer there seems to be coming a stronger emphasis by the Holy Spirit, which I am very happy to yield to. I have been freshly challenged by John 14:13-14 NKJV And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
NLT You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!
MESSAGE From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I am and what I am doing, I’ll do it. That’s how the Father will be seen for who he is in the Son. I mean it. Whatever you request in this way, I’ll do.
In 2 verses Jesus repeats Himself, If we ask anything IN HIS NAME He will do it. Remember Jesus has delegated to us (power of Attorney) the right and authority to pray and ask IN HIS NAME, of course we must pray IN THE WILL OF GOD, and our prayers will be answered. It may not always be how we would want it, but it will surely be THE WILL OF GOD.
There are quite a number in my world and extended family in the U.K. and N.Z. I will be praying and confessing 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV he Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. I so want to see them born again and knowing and loving our God.
Our responsibility is to pray for the WHOSOEVER John 3:16 NKJVGod so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
There are also backsliders amongst this group, and I am claiming their restoration.
There are also a number of sick on my list including Cancer, I am so glad our God is Jehovah Rapha The Lord our Healer, and I am again claiming complete healing IN HIS NAME,
There are also some very difficult situations for some dear fellow Believers, again I am claiming Phil. 4:19 NKJV for them my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ In some matters I don’t know how to pray, but again embracing Rom. 8:26-27 NKJV Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. I let the Holy Spirit pray through me in unknown tongues, knowing I am praying IN THE WILL OF GOD. I unashamedly say, praying in tongues is a weapon of warfare, and I constantly prove its efficacy.
There are some matters that clearly have the grubby hands of the evil one on them, so I am taking all the weapons that God has given us, especially, The Blood of Jesus, The Name of Jesus, The Sword of the Spirit (The Rhema Word of God) and my prayer language, and I will see the enemy FLEE James 4:7 NKJV Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
