LIVING IN HIS PRESENCE.

The Bible uses so many beautiful pictures and illustrations that help us to appreciate (more) our relationship with God and all that it means to be a child of God. I posted last Sunday on FB “I am going to Father’s House today are you? there were many positive comments, but one replied in a sarcastic way said “I go there every day, cos His House is about relationship not a building”. We know this is true, that the CHURCH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST not a building, but even the Psalmist said in Psalm 122:1 NKJV I was glad when they said to me ,”Let us go into the house of the Lord”.
Every Believer needs to be part of a local N.T. church, and they normally have a building of some kind they meet in right ?

The Bible also tells us that we are a “house of God”, Paul tells us in 1 Cor. 3:16 NKJV Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? The true and living eternal God lives in us, I cannot comprehend it naturally, but God says this is a fact, I believe it, and that settles it.

Then we have the glorious picture in Heb. 4:16 NKJV Let us therefore come boldly (confidently) to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Again, how can I a sinful wretch come boldly and confidently into the throne-room of God, it is all because of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a blood sprinkled pathway that gives us permanent access into the presence of God. Again, God said it, I believe it, that settles it.

I wrote recently, that I became so aware one day as i was praying I love to be in God’s presence this is where I want to be, I feel so at home at Father’s feet.

I am reminded of Gal. 4:6 NKJV And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

MESSAGE You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, “Papa! Father!” Doesn’t that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child? And if you are a child, you’re also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance.

The privilege of being a son of God is to come and sit at Father’s feet, and enjoy His presence and blessing, and in those times of struggle, find the mercy and the grace that is available to us.

This is all part of our glorious inheritance that is ours now, may every believer, know about this access and use it regularly.
