LET US ENJOY THIS NEW DAY AND REJOICE IN THE LORD

By John Ollis

It is Monday morning here, and the weather is excellent, and will get to 31c. today. I am reminded of the Psalmist’s words today Psalm 118:24 NKJV This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

The chorus comes to mind:

It’s a new day, It’s a new day, It’s a day of joy and gladness, of victories to be won, It’s a day of walking arm in arm with Jesus Christ my Lord.

Whether the weather is good or not, EVERY DAY IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO REJOICE AND GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD.

Yesterday (Sunday) was an awesome day in God’s House with His people to worship the Lord and to receive His Word, I was greatly blessed by the ministry of the Word. Today starts a new (working) week of opportunities to serve the Lord, and as the psalmist said REJOICE, and give thanks for all the Lord’s blessings.

Solomon reminds us in Lam. 3:22-23 NKJV Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not, they are new every morning GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS.

I am sure I could write a book today of all the great things the Lord is constantly doing for His people every day. Personally, despite aging, and being physically conscious of this, GOD’S GRACE IS EVER SUFFICIENT.

I have permanent ACCESS to the Throne Room 24/7. and JESUS EVER LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR THE SAINTS. Prayers are being constantly answered according to God’s Sovereign will.

I am so blessed. I so agree with Charles Wesley:

O for a Thousand tongues to sing, My Great Redeemer’s praise, the glories of my God and King, the triumphs of His grace.

I have written this simple blog to remind myself, and my readers, what an awesome God we love and serve, His mercies and blessings are so undeserved, let us REJOICE IN THE LORD TODAY AMEN.

‘O for a thousand tongues to sing

My great Redeemer’s praise

The glories of my God and King

The triumphs of His peace
