ANGELS ON ASSIGNMENT

I never tire of writing about the glorious inheritance which we have available to us, that was planned in eternity past by out loving Heavenly Father, and brought to us through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It would take years, for a new Believer to understand and appropriate all that is written in the Will (The Word of God) that is available to us NOW, that is why what I call Biblical Discipleship is essential for every new Christian.

I said recently, sadly, I need to confess that I really had little idea of all that was available to me for too many years of my Christian life, and thus there was often unnecessary defeat and failure because of my ignorance, I would often quote the saying “NOT THAT I CANNOT SIN, BUT I DON’T NEED TO SIN, and believed it was true, but it was simply information, not revelation, my biggest challenge now that I know what is written in the Will, is to be disciplined, and to do what I know i can and should do.

I love 2 Peter 1:3 NKJV His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

N.L.T. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.

PASSION Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.

MESSAGE Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received.

The list of all that GOD HAS MADE AVAILABLE TO US, SEEMS TO GROW LONGER AND LONGER EACH DAY, and I (we) literally have no excuse not to live a holy victorious life.

I thank God God today for:

The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, to cleanse and protect me

Christ’s Intercessory ministry on my behalf.

The indwelling sanctifying presence of the Holy Spirit

The Authority I have “IN THE NAME OF JESUS“.

That Praying in tongues is a weapon of warfare

That Praise is a weapon of warfare

For the WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD Eph. 6: 11-18 NKJV Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,

Every piece is essential, we must learn to PUT ON THE HELMET OF SALVATION TO PROTECT OUR MIND, and TO TAKE AND USE EFFECTIVELY THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT WHICH IS THE RHEMA WORD OF GOD.

With the Armour we can stand offensively and defensively against the enemy.

We must walk in the HOPE of Christ’s soon return. 1 John 3:2-3 NKJV now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

I have come to see there is another item in the Will, that we must use.

There were in the last century in the U.S. a very successful Evangelist couple called Charles & Frances Hunter ( known as the Happy Hunters) amongst a number of books they wrote was one entitled ANGELS ON ASSIGNMENT, highlighting the ministry of Angels in a Believer’s life. It my be because in some parts of the Church there has been an over emphasis on angels in the past, that often in the Evangelical world we don’t mention and highlight their ministry.

In Psalm 91:11-16 NKJV For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

I would suggest to you that the Angelic Host has been and are very busy these days, not just because of the Pandemic, but also because the enemy is working overtime seeking to deceive God’s people.

I want to encourage you to be bold and ask the Lord to send ANGELS ON ASSIGNMENT into your world to assist you (us) in every way, to enable you (us) to be all that God wants you (us) to be, remember, “We have not because we ask not”.

The list of what is in the Will seems ever to be increasing, what a responsibility we have, to know and appropriate what is available to us, and to use them,

I would also encourage you to think of your Christian friends and share with them WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THE WILL, and that you walk together enjoying the fruits of our inheritance amen.
