SOME THINGS I HAVE BEEN REMINDED ABOUT AND WOULD LIKE TO REMIND YOU.

I wrote sometime ago about the journey the Lord has taken me on these last 2 years, regarding my health, and I will thank the Lord throughout eternity for the way He used my problem for His glory, and brought me to a new place of relationship with Him.

During this time, I was also installed as an Elder in our local church, which is giving me many opportunities for ministry.

I have had some problems with my website, plus not feeling well have not had a strong desire to write blogs. My son who designed my website has fixed the problem, and thus it is time to start writing again.

We are now living in a time where there are 2 wars going on, and although I live in Australia, so far away they are having an impact on our nation economically.

I have had the privilege of ministering in Kiev Ukraine on a number of occasions, and have Christian friends and Ministry and churches who I know and love. May the Lord bless, comfort and encourage His people there.

I have also had the privilege of visiting Israel on 3 occasions, and again I am praying the Lord will bless, comfort His people there.

Many Theologians have created various Schools of Teaching regarding the “end times”, I have studied them all over the years, and was “comfortable” with a particular “school”. Sadly the older I get I am just not sure anymore.

Firstly, I know I must do as Paul wrote to the Philippians 2:12-13 NKJV work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; ¹³ for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

The reality is that it is too easy to get “slack and lazy” and not keep pressing into God, I am so aware of the fact, after 72 years a Christian I NEED THE LORD EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY, and we have such an inheritance that is part of His “so Great Salvation” I can and must lay hold of all that is available to me’

I am also aware that the early Church lived in the light of the Lord’s soon return, that is nearly 2000 years ago, so how much more must I live my life as if Jesus could break through the clouds, TODAY, to take His people home 1 Thess. 4;16-17 NKJV For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. ¹⁷ Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

James wrote (5:8) Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. We must keep one eye on the clouds, and keep pressing into the Lord, and let Him keep working in us Phil.1:6 NKJV being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; that is why the Lord like a human father must discipline us sometimes, all because He loves us and want us to live and walk in our inheritance NOW.

We must make INTERCESSION a key part of our prayer life, we all have family and friends who do not know the Lord or have grown cold in their walk with the Lord. Let us pray in faith they come to the Lord, and the backsliders return to the Lord.

We also have regularly come across our paths who don’t know the Lord, let us be sensitive and alert to the Lord to plant seeds and let the Holy Spirit “water those seeds”.

We are living in exciting days, may we produce much fruit for the Lord amen.
