MAKING 2014 A GREAT YEAR (2A)

I made a statement in the last blog that a dear friend asked me to clarify. I said “I can’t and won’t blame the devil”. I sincerely believe the devil was defeated on the cross, and although the Bible says  he goes around like a roaring lion, and wants to intimidate God’s people, if we fulfil 1 John 1.7 “But if we walk in the light as he is in the light and have fellowship one with another the blood of Jesus Christ His son cleanses us from all sin” and live under the Lordship of Jesus Christ (seeking to continually live the surrendered life), he cannot touch us.
We need to know by revelation, who we are in Christ, and the authority that is ours as a believer, we have a glorious inheritance in Christ and He has made available to us  everything we need for life and godliness. 2 Peter 1.4.
Are you looking forward to being in church tomorrow ? I sure am, I can’t wait to be with God’s people and seek to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. I am going because I want to go, not because I have to go, or going because I am participating in the service, I want to be with my brothers and sisters in Christ, I also want to hear the Lord speak to me through the preaching of the Word of God              I echo the words of the psalmist (Psalm 122.1) I WAS GLAD WHEN THEY SAID UNTO ME LET US GO INTO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD..
