A BRIEF HEALTH UPDATE

I have now been in hospital for three and a half weeks, and am feeling very well.  The Infectious Diseases Consultant was in this morning. When he looked at my latest Pathology Reports he declared me “infection free”. At this time I still have two and half weeks more antibiotics to receive and then it is withdrawn for two weeks, during that time they will aspirate the knee (key hole surgery) and  then see if they can grow a culture). Then at the end of the 8th week a new knee replacement is put in. Previously I was told that I would be on antibiotics for life, but this morning the Consultant said that is “highly unlikely”

So the news is good and I give the Lord all the praise and the glory.
