WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE LOVE AND SERVE

I am reminded that the Bible says our God DOES ALL THINGS WELL.
After 9 weeks in hospital and returning home, and recuperating so well, to have a fall that has put me back in hospital for probably another 6 weeks, makes you ask the question, What is going on ? So many would start blaming the devil, but my Bible tells me, if I am walking in victory and purity nothing can touch me without God’s permission, so I am proudly declaring afresh the SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD in my life.
I can say past testing experiences have always been the Lord working in my life for His glory, He so wants me to be like Jesus. God can and does uses many different methods to cause us to respond to His plan for our lives.
I wrote a blog recently and also preached just 3 Sundays ago about embracing the process that God uses, and thus responding to whatever happens seeing God has it all in hand and has His purposes to fulfill in our lives.
Eph. 1.11 says,”In Him we have also obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will”.
Two truths stood out to me,
1. We have an inheritance (because we are now Children of God).
(a) We have forgiveness
(b) We have  constant, permanent access to the throne of Grace
(c) We have peace
(d) We have joy
(e) We have NOW the gift of eternal life
(e) We are loved with an everlasting love
(f) We have everything we need for life and Godliness

AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON.

So, Paul tells He is actively involved in our lives and has a purpose, we have 2 choices,

1. Fight and react

2. Respond.

Of course, we can’t help but ask why ? And I think that is ok, and then, say perhaps I don’t know why this is happening, but YOU DO ALL THINGS WELL, and I bow to your will and purpose.

Naturally, many things we can’t handle on our own, but daily (hourly) throw ourselves on the Grace of God, and after the dealings are over we can declare with Paul, “Your Grace was (and is) sufficient for me”.

I had already set some faith goals, and the dates are now put back, but I will walk again, and I trust totally unaided, but if I have to use a walking stick, I am ok with that.Many of the goals are currently personal and private, but when they happen you will hear about it.

I conclude with a request for continued prayer, I need all the help I can get, so please continue to lay hold of the Lord on my behalf please ?
