WHAT TIME IS IT ON GOD'S CLOCK?
We know God does not live in time, but He does have a plan and timing for all His purposes. Jesus said, no one knows the time of His return, and I am sure not going to start suggesting dates. But Jesus said to look for signs and these are all around us, and it seems there has never been so many signs that suggest we must be in the ‘midnight hour”.
Jesus told us to look up for our redemption draws near Luke 21:28
John said, He that has the hope of Christ’s soon return purifies himself 1 john 3:3
Paul says, Jesus is coming as a thief in the night 1 Thess. 5:2, BUT we are not of the night, 1 Thess. 5:5. Christ’s return does not have to be unexpected to us who believe.
There are 2 signs that I want to mention this morning. Isaiah prophesied around 3000 years ago that Damascus would be destroyed as a city (Is. 17:1) and this is happening before our very eyes.
A further very sad sign is echoed in the Lord’s QUESTION in Luke 18:8
NEVERTHELESS, WHEN THE SON OF MAN COMES, WILL hE FIND FAITH ON THE EARTH ?
I am glad to say that the answer is yes, as Paul tells us, those that are alive on the earth at Christ’s return will be caught up to meet Him in the air 1 Thess.4:17.
BUT WILL IT BE JUST A REMNANT?
This question relates to yesterday’s blog, we all seem to agree that the Church desperately needs REVIVAL. There almost seems to be 2 Churches in the world, the remnant group seeking to preach the age old truths of Biblical salvation, Holiness and victorious living and purity, and the other that seems to be growing which is seeking to be contemporary but is NOT preaching these truths and is compromising so much on what should be Christian lifestyle.
Although I am discouraged at what I see I am holding on to a glorious promise

God can and does move sovereignly, but in this day and hour WE NEED TO ASK!!!
Please re-read yesterday’s blog, and let us by God’s grace lay hold of God until He moves amongst us in spiritual revival.

Not just here in Australia but in numerous countries of the world. It may not have been mentioned in your church, but it is not too late for you to consider setting tomorrow apart to seek the Lord. Perhaps you could speak to your Home Bible Study group to see if some would like to join you.
If the time is short before Jesus returns let us start NOW.
