OUR SOVEREIGN GOD

I read some very pertinent and Biblical statements over the weekend that really blest and encouraged me.

You may have noticed I have not written many blogs lately, and that I put in a prayer request (in FB) for my health. For two or three hours a day, I have felt unwell, then it clears.

I am totally committed to the Sovereignty of God and that as I “walk in the Light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin” 1 John 1:7, nothing can touch me without God’s permission because We know that ALL things work together for good to those who love God, who are called according to His purpose Rom..8:28 so please keep praying, we still believe in Jehovah Ropheca (The Lord our Healer) but if the Lord has a plan in His Sovereign will relative to my body, then THE WILL OF THE LORD BE DONE.

Unlike the muslims we do not believe in fatalism, we believe in the SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD, He is in control.

I think I wrote recently that God has given us a 70 year “warranty” on our bodies, I am now in my 76th year, so if my unwellness is simply “signs of aging” I bow to the Sovereignty of God.

I sincerely pray this blog will encourage you, please mediate on some of the statements at the start of this blog, may they become a Rhema word to you.

A number of friends have written as a result of my prayer request encouraging me to recognise, that there comes changes and direction in our ministries and we need to recognise this, I am taking that on board as well.
