IS STRUCTURE THAT IMPORTANT WHEN IT COMES TO PRAYER?

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT TO BEGIN OUR DAILY QUIET TIME CORRECTLY?

I believe it is completely important especially when the Psalmist says in Psalm 66:18 NKJV If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear, I like the words in the PASSION translation  Yet if I had closed my eyes to my sin, the Lord would have closed His ears to my prayer.  

WE MUST CLEAR THE DECKS OF ANY UNCONFESSED SIN

My problem is I cannot always remember all my sins since last time I prayed, so I happily make use of King David’s words in Psalm 139:23-24 NKJV  Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxieties: and see if there is any wicked way bin me, and lead me in the way everlasting.  I also pray often pray Psalm 51: 10-12 NKJV  Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me, restore unto me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by your generous spirit.

I usually then go through the list of 9 ways in which we sin. (do you know what they are?)
I AM SO GLAD JESUS IS ALWAYS TRUE TO HIS NAME, HIS NATURE AND PROMISES

I then claim and receive my forgiveness, because God said it, and I believe it, and that Jesus took all my sins upon Himself and carried them all away.
If you are a Mentor, you cannot teach the topic once but must walk with the new Believer until prayer becomes a lifestyle.
