2019 INTERCESSION & REVIVAL

We have just concluded a lovely holiday cruise, from Hong Kong to Singapore. We have been extremely tired and basically all we did for 13 days was relax and rest, we did not do one land tour, and were off line almost the whole time. Over the years, many times when I have been away from home. usually on a ministry trip, the Lord has specifically spoken into my life, these have been highlight experiences that have taken me into fresh direction and revelation and they have been life changing. When we arrived in Singapore we checked into the hotel, and Margaret went shopping, and I simply sat in the presence of God and waited on the Lord. Quite quickly I became aware the Lord wanted to speak to me, and that the 3 days in Singapore were going to be significant and life changing. I assumed (incorrectly) that it would come through one of the important appoints I would be having. These meetings were a time of catching up with ministry friends, and were such a blessing, but no significant things arose.
I guess it is at least a year ago that the Lord wonderfully led me into a new ministry of Intercession. My public ministry because of health and age was reducing, and I asked the Lord to give me a new ministry. This began slowly, but the Lord has now given me, literally 100’s of ministries and people across the globe for me to partner with in prayer. I may not be able to physically visit them, but I sure can in the Spirit. There are now so many it was getting very difficult to give quality time to every person and ministry.
Apart from those in ministry, there is also a group of people I am praying for, who are either unsaved or backslidden, including family members. I received in Singapore the glorious news that one of these has been wonderfully restored to the Lord, this put such joy and excitement in my heart, and as I waited before the Lord, He gave me a strategy to take my prayer ministry To a new level. From today I will zero in on a  particular region (or continent) EVERY DAY.  This was the significant thing the Lord wanted to reveal to me, and I am so thankful as this is taking my Intercessory Ministry to a new depth. I will now  concentrate on a region or continent one day in each week, this is what I have prepared.

I was reminded of Ezekiel 22:30 “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the gap before me”. NKJV God is still looking for Believers who will stand in Intercession and see the Spirit of God move in a mighty way in these last days.
James 5:16 NKJV reminds us, that “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails MUCH”. God has used the restoration of that young man to lead me into a deeper area of Intercession. This blog and its contents may not be very significant to you, but it has stirred my heart to see great change in 2019.
The second key word in this blog title is REVIVAL, this word we often misinterpret as seeing many coming to Christ, but it means God’s people (Believers) coming alive, being quickened by the Holy Spirit, recovered from backsliding, refreshed in their hears, Renewed in their spirits, and restored into a vital living relationship with the Lord.
It is time for the Bride (The Church) to make herself ready for the Lord’s return for that Church “without spot or blemish or wrinkle” is closer than ever before, then as the Church is revived, then we can see a mighty ingathering of lost souls.
I trust you can embrace my excitement and see this new significant step, the Lord is leading me into.
