LIVING THE DREAM

Martin Luther King made a statement in a famous speech and that statement has gone around the world.

I HAVE A DREAM

I can so relate to these words, as each day the dream God has put in my heart is getting better and bigger.

I mentioned in a recent blog that while sitting in our hotel room in Singapore God gave me such an assurance that something significant was going to happen and it did. I discovered a young man had been restored to the Lord, and I have been given the privilege of Discipling him. I received a phone call last week from a young Pastor who I have not talked too for some years and he asked if we could catch up for coffee. The result of the catch up is that we will start meeting monthly.

I have been asked to take responsibility for the Discipleship/Mentoring program in our local church, what an exciting challenge this is. I will also continue to preach regularly there. The Intercessory Ministry continues to expand, as well as my blogging and the WhatsApp video Discipling. There is nothing in this world I would rather be doing at this time than all the above, and I want to do it well. My enlarged definition on Biblical Discipleship is TO WALK WITH A PERSON (FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES) UNTIL LIVING AS A CHRISTIAN HAS BECOME A LIFESTYLE.

The virus we picked up on holiday seems to have left us, but we are still feeling very tired and struggling for motivation.

I believe I am entering perhaps the most important phase of my ministry in all my life, so this blog is actually a prayer request.

I am humbled and privileged that the Lord has led me this way, and I want to do and be the best I can sincerely be and do, would you pray much that physically, emotionally and mentally I will receive a fresh continued touch upon my body?
