IT IS TIME TO DO SOME CLOUD SEEDING.

The Old Testament is the picture of God, slowly and progressively revealing Truth to His people, and has its fulfillment in the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, His Death and Resurrection and the institution of the New Covenant.

We read for example in Exodus 13:21 NKJV the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way. 

God’s presence was manifested in the Cloud of Glory. Remember God said to Moses and David to build a Tabernacle and the Temple “according to the pattern”(design) that God would give them and they did, and when the buildings were complete the Glory Cloud came, indicating that God’s presence resided there. The Psalmist also reminds us in Psalm 78:14 NKJV In the daytime also He led them with the cloud.

THE CLOUD IS AN AWESOME PICTURE OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD

We know natural clouds contain moisture, and in dry countries like Australia a process of Cloud Seeding is often used to get rain to fall especially in a drought stricken area, Hosea prophesies and says in 6:3 NKJV He will come to us like the rain, like the latter and former rain to the earth.  

WE ARE IN A TIME OF GREAT DROUGHT

Jesus wants to come to us as the Former and Latter Rain and satisfy our spiritual thirst.

Many Theologians call the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2:4 the Former Rain outpouring, that produced the birth of the New Testament Church and what a glorious history it had for some hundreds of years, as it progressed around the globe. Slowly the Church went into error and the Person and Power of the Holy Spirit was lost. God raised up men like Luther and Calvin to bring Reformation to the Church, sadly, Calvin was convinced that the Gifts of the Spirit like Prophecy and Healing and especially speaking in tongues ceased on the death of the last of the original Apostles. I have never been able to understand how he came to that conclusion as well as his rejection of Believer’s Baptism (by immersion).

So it wasn’t until the start of the twentieth century that the Cloud began to move in the Church and people were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues as the Holy Spirit gave them utterance. The Pentecostal Movement was born. These days became known in many circles as the Latter Rain outpouring, and this quickly encompassed the world. Sadly after two world wars the Pentecostal movement began to lose impetus and become very dry and formal in many places

There were a group of Pentecostal Christians in Canada who became very burdened about the need for a fresh revival amongst Believers. They were led to Psalm 22:3 NKJV You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel, They felt the Lord tell them that the more they praised the more God will come down and set up His throne amongst them, so they forgot about time and just began to praise and worship the Lord, and the Holy Spirit fell upon them, and this was the birth of what became known as the Latter Rain Movement, and numerous truths from the Word of God were restored at this time, including James’s prophecy in Acts 15 of the Restoration of David’s Tabernacle and the ministry of Singers and Musicians in the House of God. A similar outpouring happening in the UK and was known as Henry’s Glory meetings.

The people of God so seeded the Glory Cloud that the presence and power of God was manifest, the Latter Rain flooded the meetings.

Sadly, again after a time, human nature said let’s not have such long meetings, and reduced the time for Praise and Worship and the Latter Rain stopped falling.

As well as a greater emphasis on Intercession in 2019 God has put on my heart its time for a good continued soaking in the Latter Rain, and Like Elijah in 1 Kings 18:44, I see a cloud, it is very small at the moment, but in my spirit I hear the sound of abundance of rain v.41.

It is time to do some cloud seeding, it will have to be proceeded by Repentance, we must have a CHANGE OF MIND, CHANGE OF ATTITUDE, CHANGE OF AFFECTION AND A CHANGE OF DIRECTION and the decision to start seeding the Glory Cloud like NEVER BEFORE. We need a Holy Spirit outpouring, and I believe it will happen this year, if we do our part.
