GOD'S SO GREAT SALVATION

The writer of the Book of Hebrews in chapter 2:3 describes God’s plan of redemption as GOD’S SO GREAT SALVATION.. Many scholars over the years have sought to describe God’s ORDER OF SALVATION (ordus Salutis) the above is a suggested order, beginning in eternity past (ETERNAL CONCEPTION) right through to eternity future (ETERNAL CONTINUUM). When I taught the doctrine of Salvation (SOTERIOLOGY) I would give my students the above diagram and the list of definitions above.

We would then look at all the Scriptures relative to every aspect of our Salvation, why don’t you use your Concordance and check them out for yourself, and let the Holy Spirit overwhelm you with God’s glorious plan, that the Godhead (The Holy Trinity) devised in eternity past, and meditate on the glorious fact that it included you, not only was THE LAMB SLAIN BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, AND GOD ALSO KNEW YOUR NAME AND CHOSE YOU AT THE SAME TIME.

I thought I would present this in a blog for you as in just over a week we celebrate EASTER, and the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and spelling it out like this may cause you to appreciate even more all that the Lord has done for us, and continues to do for us.
