OUR UNIQUE AWESOME GOD
Isn’t the Lord so good? His blessings, His goodness, His mercy, is so awesome, and let us be honest, they are all (and so much more) so undeserving. We deserved nothing but the lowest hell, BUT JESUS CAME AND SET THE CAPTIVE FREE.
I am so impacted by the fact of how busy God is on my behalf (and yours) the Bible says, Isaiah 40:28-31 NKJV Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither FAINTS NOR IS WEARY.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
MESSAGE Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening?
God doesn’t come and go. God lasts.
He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don’t get tired,
they walk and don’t lag behind.
Our God does this for every believer who will come to Him, admit their weaknesses and vulnerability, and failure, and gives us far more than we could ever imagine.
I was so blest as I read 2 Chron. 16:9 NKJV this morning For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
Our God does NOT sit around waiting for us to reach out to Him, but His EYES are RUNNING throughout the earth, He is PROACTIVE in wanting to SHOW HIMSELF TO US THAT HE IS STRONG to those who are LOYAL to Him. MESSAGE says God is ALWAYS ON THE ALERT, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to him.
Do you see some key words in these verses.
LOYAL TO HIM
COMMITTED TO HIM
The only life worth living, and that way makes the Christian life so exciting and fulfilling is learning MORE AND MORE about the surrendered life. King David reminds us in Psalm 37:4 NKJV Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. PASSION TRANSLATION says Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life,
and he will provide for you what you desire the most.
The more we delight in the Lord and seek FIRST His rule in our lives Matt. 6:33 NKJV But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. AMP N.T. But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
So these verses in this blog clearly tell, that not only is God proactive into wanting to bless us, but as we seek Him more and more He will truly be Jehovah Jireh to us (The Lord who provides). The only reason it will not happen is because as James 4:2 NKJV says You do not have because you do not ask. Let us ask and keep on asking amen.
