AN UP TO DATE TESTIMONY

The Psalmist strongly encourages God’s people to not keep quiet about God’s blessing on their life, but in a real sense “SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS” what God is doing in their life. Psalm 107:2 NKJV declares Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. I feel it is time I shared an up to date testimony of the Lord’s blessing in my life. I firstly want to put the spotlight on MY REDEEMER, for my appreciation and understanding of my “so great Salvation” has continued to increase and literally overwhelm me that God the Father, through His son Jesus, would purchase me and take me out of the “slave market” of sin, and the price paid was the precious blood of Jesus, that has never lost its ancient power, and this purchase gives me ACCESS into the very throne room of God at any time, I do not ever have to make an appointment to meet with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I was born again almost 68 years ago, and just a few years later became conscious of the “call of God” on my life for Ministry, God gave me a “Pastor’s heart” and nearly 55 years since I entered the Ministry this has been the major influence in my life. I have declared before and I declare again “I have lived the dream” and ever thank God for this.

The transition from a primarily “public Ministry” to a “private” Ministry has been interesting, I could not have believed if I had been told even two years that I would be as richly blessed by the massive change in my Ministry. Let me highlight some of the changes.

I have never professed to be an academic, but saw the great need and opportunity to express my “Pastor’s heart” through writing and blogging. This started some years ago but when my public ministry was ending I asked the Lord out of frustration what can He give me to do to replace all my teaching and preaching and overseas travel, and He directed me to work harder at blogging, the blog I wrote yesterday was no. 800 and Believers around the world from many countries regularly read them, and write to share their appreciation. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY.

The Lord then also led me into INTERCESSORY MINISTRY, and what an exciting journey this has become, I regularly pray the words of the Disciple in Luke 11:1 NKJV “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” and the Lord has sure been answering this prayer, and my prayer life (I say humbly) has gone to a new level of intimacy, and still I cry out this prayer, for I want to go deeper in prayer. The Intercessory component has also deepened for which I thank the Lord, and am regularly seeing God answer prayer for His servants that have asked me to pray for them and their ministry, I wish I had words to express my heart felt thanks to God for this.

Over the last couple of years I have sent out numerous personal prayer requests regarding my health, and wrote again recently requesting prayer, not just for my health but for a some changes I have made in my lifestyle, requires patience and persistence, and I am so conscious of people praying for me, and it is truly helping dramatically.

I also want to mention the opportunities the Lord gives me to Mentor, both face to face and via WhatsApp video, the time differences in Asia can be a hassle at time but I believe there is good fruit coming from it.

So, this is my up to date testimony of the blessing and goodness of God on my life, JESUS THOU ART EVERYTHING TO ME.
