WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE.

I came to Christ at age 10, and soon after memorised 1 John 1:9 KJV If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Now some 68+ years later it is still the verse, I confess before the Lord every day and claim cleansing and forgiveness, AND ALWAYS RECEIVE IT. Hallelujah.
Only in the last year or two have I discovered the verse in the AMP.N.T. which reads     If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (TRUE TO HIS OWN NATURE AND PROMISES (His Word)) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
I have highlighted some words because this became such a Rhema Word to me and has blest me so much. John speaking of  GOD’S  CONSTANT UNCHANGING NATURE.
I am so humbled and glad that God does not react as humans do , and say enough is enough and throw us on the rubbish heap of life. This covers every aspect of our life.
King David had this revelation and says in Psalm 103:17 NLT But the love of the Lord REMAINS FOREVER, with those that fear Him,
In Psalm 136:26 another Psalmist says Give thanks to the God of heaven.His FAITHFUL LOVE ENDURES FOREVER.
We read in Psalm 107:1 NKJV Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER 
The Prophet Isaiah declares is Isaiah 40:8 NLT The grass withers and the flowers fade,
but the THE WORD OF OUR GOD STANDS FOREVER.
May we not take this glorious truth for granted and abuse it, Thank God for His love, His mercy, His forgiveness, and that His WORD ever remains true.
Included in His Word is not only this glorious truth, but also that WE HAVE AN AWESOME INHERITANCE, and that by the grace of God we can live in victory and holiness and purity.
I am so thankful that Jesus is true to His NAME, HIS NATURE, AND HIS PROMISES, I trust you are too.
