THE HEALING POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD

I woke up this morning feeling tired and lethargic, even though in hours I felt I had sufficient time of sleep. Soon after I started to develop a headache and felt “lousy”. I have completed almost 8 decades of life, so I am very aware that our physical bodies are wearing out, and so it is not surprising there can be aches and pains, and less ability to do what one did 20, 30, 40 years before. I decided to WhatsApp my many friends requesting prayer. I often am asking them for prayer requests as this is part of my ministry these days.
After I had sent the Whatsapp message I began to think about healing, and Psalm 107:20 AMP. O.T. immediately came to my mind He sends forth His word and HEALS them. What an interesting exciting verse. THE WORD OF GOD HAS HEALING POWER. This surely relates to Rom. 10:17 NKJV So then FAITH cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. When the Logos Word becomes a Rhema Word and FAITH comes into our heart, the Rhema Word causes healing to flow, or revelation or whatever God wants to do at that particular time.
As I meditated on Psalm 107:20 and the power of the Word to heal, almost immediately Phil. 4:19-20 NLT  came  into my mind. “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your NEEDS from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever Amen.  The  MESSAGE Bible says You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. Our God and Father abounds in glory that just pours out into eternity. Yes. The healing process began in my body as I mediated on this Word.
Many of my friends have responded and said they are praying for me, and I sure appreciate their prayers and love (And I am feeling so much better). In conclusion though may I say LET US LEARN TO SPEND MORE TIME MEDITATING IN THE WORD OF GOD, AND LETTING THE LOGOS BECOME A RHEMA WORD, SO THAT HEALING AND REVELATION MAY FLOW MORE AND MORE AMEN.
