DEALING WITH THE “BIRDS”.

We probably all  know the well known saying, YOU CAN’T STOP THE BIRDS FLYING AROUND YOUR HEAD, BUT YOU CAN  SURE STOP THEM NESTING IN YOUR HAIR.

The reality is we will have sinful and unacceptable thoughts until the very day we die, or when Jesus breaks through the clouds but as the saying goes, we DO NOT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THEM. Some of these thoughts will come from our sinful nature, and some from the evil one.

The moment the thought comes WE MUST KICK IT OUT, 

HOW DO WE DO IT?

1.We walk in the Light of the Word of God and our conscience 1 John 1:7 NKJV if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. Seek to keep under the blood of Jesus on your life.

2      Use the Power of Attorney we have been given IN THE NAME OF JESUS against the thoughts.

3.We confess the Word of God  against the thought, and use it as a sword against the enemy.

4.We sing and pray in tongues.

WE MUST NOW IMMEDIATELY FILL THE SPACE WITH:

Phil. 4:8 NKJV Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things

AMP. N.T. For the rest, brethren, whatever is true , whatever is worthy of reverence and is honourable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure whatever is lovely and loveable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].

NKJV Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

NLT Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honourable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

PASSION So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honourable and admirable , beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.

MESSAGE I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable,authentic , compelling, gracious—the best not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse

I have given you the Keys in 6 different translations and have highlighted all those things we need to have PREPARED IN ADVANCE, let me encourage you to give serious thought  to these things, write them down, carry them with you, until they are etched in your memory and you can immediately pull one or more out and “fill the space” and meditate on that thing, let it consume your thinking, so there is no room for any sinful thought.
