HE WANTS TO MEET ALL OUR NEEDS
One of my favourite verses, which I am sure I have quoted quite a few times in my blogs is Heb:6:16 NKJV Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
PASSION So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.
MESSAGE So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.
I did just that this afternoon as I was praying, not that I had any particular need today, but like a little boy could run straight up to daddy and into the Holy of Holies and bow down and worship, I see God’s throne and meet the Lord “between the wings of the Cherubim. We are so blessed to have this awesome ACCESS into the Father’s presence. Eph. 2:18 NKJV For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Of course, there are many times when I have to come in deep need to find (the kiss of) mercy and help, and just throw myself at His feet, and declare Psalm 23:1NLT The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need, and I hear Him saying (as in Jer.31:3) Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; I am glad He is truly Jehovah Jireh.
AND THE LORD MEETS MY NEED HALLELUJAH
On other occasions it needs to be a “two way street” I need to do my part as we read in Isaiah 40:28-31 NKJV Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives POWER to the weak,
And to those who have no might He INCREASES STRENGTH
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who WAIT on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall MOUNT up with wings like eagles,
They shall RUN and not be weary,
They shall WALK and not faint.
AMP. O.T. VERSE 31 But those who WAIT for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall CHANGE AND RENEW and POWER; they shall LIFT their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.
There are many times when we have to make a deliberate act of our will and EXCHANGE our weakness for His STRENGTH, THIS PRODUCES AN AWESOME RENEWAL within us as we wait on the Lord.
I am reminded of the words of Jesus in Matt. 6:33 AMP N.T. But seek (aim at and STRIVE AFTER first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
MESSAGE Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
As we decide to seek God’s Kingdom (HIS RULE OVER OUR LIVES) then God promises to MEET ALL OUR NEEDS. Phil. 4:19 NKJV But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
