BASIC MILITARY TRAINING FOR BELIEVERS (6)
Every piece of armour is essential and important in its own way, I consider the Helmet of Salvation, is central to us learning how to protect our mind, as, we have said previously, the mind is the battlefield of the soul, and every battle is won or lost in the mind.
The 8 keys I shared in Blog 5 in this series are so integral to us learning to live and walk in victory always defeating the devil.. We thank God today for the glorious inheritance we have received through Christ’s death and resurrection that we now have available to us NOW. My heart aches as a Pastor, that so many believers live as paupers and defeated because they were never Biblically discipled, and taught and trained to use THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD.
I want to go on and say, in this blog, the 8 keys MUST BECOME REVELATION, if the keys are simply information the devil will laugh at us and take no notice of us, but when they are revelation he will flee, as we are promised in James 4:7 NKJV Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
I want to encourage you to slowly meditate (and chew over) every one of the 8 keys and let there be that 12 inch drop from head to heart, and they become a Rhema word, and therefore a sword in your hand. Remember when the Word becomes a Rhema there is a deposit of faith planted in your heart. Rom. 10:17 NKJV So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the (Rhema) word of God.
PASSION Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One.
What I have just said about the 8 keys to protect the mind, is equally relevant to the all the 7 pieces of armour which we have in our armoury, and as they become revelation to us we do as Paul instructs in Eph. 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
MESSAGE Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.
PASSION Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.
