THE NEW SEASON HAS STARTED
It is the 22nd September today here in the Southern Hemisphere in Victoria Australia, and THE SEASON IS CHANGING from Spring to Summer, and we are having some lovely days (much of the time) with warm sunshine and cloudless days,
Our capital city some 100 kms. away from us has been under lockdown and curfew (9pm thru 5am) for over 6 weeks, but the results have been very exciting, as the positive cases are dramatically dropping, THE SEASON IS CHANGING, Praise the lord.
I have written a number of times recently referring to Rom.8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Our omniscient God (in eternity past) has permitted this pandemic for our GOOD, as He wants to use it to do a work of grace in every Believer and cause the Church to return to BUILDING ACCORDING TO THE PATTERN OF THE WORD OF GOD. I want to declare today, THE SEASON IS CHANGING.
I am hearing so many positive reports from Believers and churches everywhere in our nation that they are experiencing a rising tide of blessing on their lives and in their congregations (even though many churches can only still function on line), the bodies of believers are refreshed and energised to draw nearer to the Lord, and also fulfil the Great Commission Matt.28:18-20 NKJV And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Speaking personally, so much has been happening in my life, over these last few months, there has been so much answered prayer, so much blessing, I need and want to spend more time just saying THANK YOU TO THE LORD. I have not the slightest doubt that for me THE SEASON IS CHANGING.
Some years ago, I taught in a Bible School in Kuala Lumpur and met a young man who was a Pastor’s son, our connection resulted in me going to Manila Philippines to minister in his father’s church probably 10 years ago, we have maintained contact through social media, and out of the blue I was invited to conduct a Zoom Seminar and my topic was “Biblical Discipleship” I was so conscious of the anointing not only as I was was ministering, but was on my life for hours following. I am praying and believing MY SEASON IS CHANGING, (and the Lord adding this to my ministry). Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia are just 2 or 3 hours time difference from me, and I trust I will be able to do more of this, (in these countries)A further invitation/s will be coming from Manila soon.
I want to echo afresh today, the words of Isaiah 43:19-21 and claim it not only for myself, but for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ here in Australia.
NKJV Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
The beast of the field will honor Me,
The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I give waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My people, My chosen.
This people I have formed for Myself;
They shall declare My praise.
N.L.T. For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
The wild animals in the fields will thank me,
the jackals and owls, too,
for giving them water in the desert.
Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland
so my chosen people can be refreshed.
I have made Israel for myself,
and they will someday honor me before the whole world.
MESSAGE Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new.
It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it?
There it is! I’m making a road through the desert,
rivers in the badlands.
Wild animals will say ‘Thank you!’
—the coyotes and the buzzards—
Because I provided water in the desert,
rivers through the sun-baked earth,
Drinking water for the people I chose,
the people I made especially for myself,
a people custom-made to praise me.
May I encourage you to read and MEDITATE on this verse, and chew over the three translations, and pray HOLY SPIRIT TURN THE LIGHT ON, let it be quickened to your spirit, and let it become a personal Rhema word to you, and let FAITH SPRING UP IN YOUR HEART, as you claim it for yourself and for your local church amen.
There is an old chorus that has been on my mind, you may remember it.
There’s a New Day Dawning, I can feel it in my heart,
A time of hope and healing, a chance for a brand new start,
The past is gone, tomorrow calls, I will not turn away
That New Day Dawning starts today.
