THE POWER OF CONFESSION.

My readers know that I am convinced that a Disciple-Maker MUST WALK WITH THE NEW BELIEVER FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES UNTIL LIVING AS A CHRISTIAN HAS BECOME A LIFESTYLE FOR THE NEW BELIEVER.

I wrote recently, that we are enrolled in God’s Army when we are born again, and we must UNDERTAKE BASIC TRAINING to become a good soldier of the Lord Jesus Christ. Military recruits need to often repetitively do things until it becomes an automatic response.

Another recent blog was based on Joshua 1:8 regarding the total importance of meditating on the Word of God. As I checked my Strong’s Concordance I noted that the Hebrew word for meditate means to chew, mutter, imagine, and SPEAK out the Word of God as you read it. Again I saw Basic Training here through Biblical Discipleship that every time we read and meditate on the Word of God we SPEAK IT OUT ALOUD.So, my fellow Believers as we are reading the verse/s in various translations and asking the Holy Spirit” to turn the light on”, I want to encourage you especially if this is a new concept to you that you start to make it a practice t spend time reading out the Word of God aloud.

I was reminded of Romans 10:8 NKJV as I was pondering on this truth. “The word (Rhema) is nigh thee, even in thy MOUTH, and in thy HEART : that is, the word (Rhema) of faith, which we preach”;

I have often suggested in my blogs that the more we meditate on the Word of God, their seems to be there comes more often the awesome experience of the Holy Spirit QUICKENING God’s Word to our Spirit and the Logos (written Word) becomes a Rhema Word.

May I remind you that Paul tells us in Eph. 6:17 NKJV “The sword of the Spirit, which is the word (Rhema) of God: We have this wonderful piece of armour and I would suggest the more we speak out the written Word of God as we meditate upon it, the written Word becomes a Sword (Rhema) in our MOUTH, not only to contend against our enemy the devil, but we joyfully CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTHS, all that God has done for us, is doing for us, and has promised to continue doing for us throughout eternity.

Let me remind you that if you feel God has quickened His Word to you, IT MUST ALWAYS WITHOUT EXCEPTION LINE UP AND AGREE WITH EVERYTHING THE BIBLE DECLARES.

This truth is becoming a progressive revelation to me personally, may we (me) let the Holy Spirit help us to always recognise the moment “the birds start flying around our head” we take the Sword of the Spirit and cause those “thoughts” to FLY AWAY AMEN.
