THE AWESOME CURRENT WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN MY LIFE HALLELUJAH

In October 1951 almost 72 years ago was my first encounter with the Holy Spirit (although I was not aware of this at the time). The Sunday school class I attended had all made a decision to receive the Lord into to their lives, the previous week, I had not attended, so the Teacher asked me if I would like to receive the Lord, I said yes and at the end of the class I was invited to go forward and knee at the penitent Form and was led in prayer. Coming from a godless home I didn’t understand much, but I was wonderfully BORN AGAIN, and my life has never been the same since that day.

In my teen years I was introduced to the teaching on HOLY LIVING, and a few years later about being filled with the Holy Spirit, and receiving His gifts like SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

I also had received a call to MINISTRY which I embraced and went to Bible College, this was followed by over 20 years of PASTORAL MINISTRY, the Lord clearly directed us into BIBLE COLLEGE MINISTRY which continued for about 30 years.

During all this time the Holy Spirit taught me many things, and it was an awesome blessed time.

Just in the last 15 months I have been becoming very aware of aging and pain. Almost for the first time I became aware of THE DEALINGS OF GOD, which I have written about recently. I have become so convinced of the SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD, and that the Lord has permitted it for a PURPOSE because He loves me Hebrews 12:6 NKJV

For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.”

He does that so we will be PARTAKES OF HIS HOLINESS AND THE PEACEABLE FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. “but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:10-11 NKJV

Every day I thank God for His SOVEREIGNTY OVER MY LIFE, and HIS CHASTENING.

I humbly declare, that the Holy Spirit has drawn me into a DEEPER RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD, my hunger for His PRESENCE, has never been so strong, I can say I am growing in Grace and in the Knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray every day DRAW ME HOLY SPIRIT AND I WILL RUN AFTER YOU. The level of VICTORY has wonderfully increased, and I am learning to deal with THE LITTLE FOXES THAT SPOIL THE VINES, the fears, the doubts, the unbelief, the negativity, and insecurities which have so often robbed me of my peace in the past.

I have truly fallen in love with Jesus in a deeper way, as He continues to work in my life as expressed in Phil. 1:6 NKJV “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ”.

I am now asking the Lord to lift the chastening, but by His GRACE I will continue pressing into Him.

Here is my daily prayer LORD I WANT TO WALK UNAIDED AND PAIN FREE, AND TRANSITION INTO A NEW LEVEL OF MINISTRY FOR YOUR GLORY.

Will you pray with me that this will come to pass, I want my latter days to be greater than my former days.

I am claiming Isaiah 60:22 NLT At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
