THANK GOD FOR THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Apostle Paul makes an awesome statement in 1 Cor. 6: 19-20 NKJV do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
AMP.N.T. Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,
You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.
PASSION Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary. You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!
MESSAGE Or didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body.
The eternal Godhead (The Holy Trinity) in eternity past created a glorious SALVATION PLAN that had it fulfillment and outworking through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. It was an expensive purchase by Jesus to suffer and die and shed His blood for us, and ring again for our Justification, so we can be declared NOT GUILY.
Every day I thank God the Father for His so great Salvation plan, every day I thank the Father for Jesus and His death that produced such a wonderful inheritance for everyone who is born again.
LET US EVER THANK GOD FOR THE PERSON AND MINISTRY OFR THE HOLY SPIRIT IN OUR LIVES, without His ministry we would fail.
The Holy Spirit never speaks of Himself but seeks constantly to see men and women “translated out of the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s son”
The Bible tells us the the Holy Spirit seeks to CONVICT AND CONVINCE a person of their sinful state and the guilt that comes with that, and the result of eternal separation from God.
The Holy Spirit seeks to draw a person to the foot of the cross, and and give them the ability to REPENT.
The Holy Spirit “anoints” the preaching of the Word of God, so that a person, will receive that INCORRUPTIBLE “SEED” (SPERMA) OF THE WORD OF GOD and they are born again, 1 Peter 1:23 NKJV having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
That is the moment the Holy Spirit comes into our life and OUR BODY BECOMES THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
We cannot receive more of the Holy Spirit, but He wants to have MORE of us, that is why Paul tells us in Rom.12:1 NKJV I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
AMP. N.T. I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
PASSION Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.
So constantly we need to be re-affirming Jesus is the Lord of our Life, and let the Holy Spirit continue to fill us Eph. 5:18 NKJV be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.
Let us constantly be praying :Holy Spirit rain down on me, saturate me fill the Temple to overflowing with your presence:. May Jesus by the holy Spirit ever be seated on the throne of our heart amen.
The Holy Spirit wants to lead us and guide and equip us, to be a man or woman of God, He wants to “quicken” the Word of God to our hearts, so that we can use it as a Sword against the enemy, and declare with Paul in Rom.8:37 NKJV Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
