RECONCILIATION
Have you ever had a relationship with a family member, friend or colleague break down because of some poor misinterpreted communication, or by something done by one of the parties ? When one of you made the move and reconciliation takes place, it is a wonderful experience right ??
Do you remember when you came to faith ? you recognised you were a sinner going to hell and you prayed for forgiveness, and for the first time you were reconciled to God, I am sure you will never forget that day, when old things passed away and everything became new.
Again, you will remember when you have failed the Lord, and instead of rushing to the Throne of grace (with Boldness and Confidence) you did the Adam & Eve thing and went and hid. and maybe hours, or days go by before you ask for forgiveness, and you again felt fully reconciled to the Lord.
One of the most liberating revelations I have had as a believer, is that forgiveness is part of my inheritance as a child of God, I ask the Lord daily to search my heart, and I deliberately step into the River of Grace, and let forgiveness. and peace and joy flow over me. I do not want to have any cloud between me and my God. With the Lord’s help i don’t ever want to abuse this awesome privilege, as His grace is sufficient for me to live victoriously.
Paul reminds us in 2 Cor. 5:18-19 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the WORD OF RECONCILIATION.

We all have different ministries, music, singing, teaching preaching, the list is endless, but every believer has this important ministry of reconciliation.
Have you witnessed to anyone recently, have you had the joy of leading someone to Christ ?. I am convinced God brings people across our paths regularly with whom we can share a word.
What is the Word of reconciliation ? Paul says we are all (Epistles) letters that are continually being read, what words are they seeing in your life ? It would seem not many really have the gift by words to witness to people, but our lives CAN SPEAK LOUDER THAN ANY WORDS. I trust people are getting a consistent “word” from our lives.
Reconciliation is not only a beautiful word, it is an awesome experience, both on the horizontal, but much more on the vertical.
If you have any unconfessed sin in your life RUN to Daddy, He wants to forgive you and be reconciled to you. If you are out of relationship with anyone the Bible says (even if we think it is not our fault) we should make the first move and seek to be reconciled. Some may not accept, but you have done your part, and you then leave it to the Lord, and keep on praying.
