WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING ?????

As a young person I was brought up on all the traditional second coming charts, especially Clarence Larkin,s, I then went to Bible College and the Pre-Millenial School was again promoted. That Jesus would return unexpectedly as a thief in the night, and take His Church away, then a 7 year tribulation, and Jesus would then return with His saints and set up a 1000 year reign on the earth, then at the end of that wrap everything up.
I then discovered “that we are not of the night”  and need to look out for the signs of Christ’s return and Bbe ready  like the 5 wise virgins, I must keep my lamp filled. I must learn to live as if Jesus would return today and be busy fulfilling the Great Commission. This is one of the exciting tensions in the Christian life. Are there any signs that would suggest that the Lord’s return is close yes,yes, yes.
The Syrian civil war, with now Russia’s involvement
The Iran nuclear matter
The struggling cease fire in Eastern Ukraine
The rise of Isis
The refugee crisis
The lukewarmness of much of the Church
The increase of earthquakes, floods
The political turmoil in many nations
And the list goes on and on.
WHAT MUST WE DO ????
I think we need to pray like we have never prayed before, not in fear but pray:
For ourselves, that we may not relax, but live and walk in victory & purity.
Against the deception that is gripping the Church
For the peace of Jerusalem.
For my readers, I just want to encourage you, that we must  be very close to the Lord’s return, and that we will be “without spot or blemish or any such thing when He returns. That we are walking in the will of God every day reaffirming His lordship over our lives, and seeking to share the good news of the Gospel to as many as we can.
I am sure you have unsaved  or backslidden loved ones, let us pray them into the Kingdom of God, let us believe for an end time revival that will usher tens of millions into the Kingdom. There are some exciting things happening in some countries like Indonesia and China, and some Muslims in other countries are realising that the teachings of Islam are from the pit of hell and coming to Christ. Let me remind you that :
THE EFFECTUAL FERVANT PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN (OR WOMAN) AVAILS MUCH, and as James says, “We have not because we ask not: Let us as the song says:
I ask for the nations, I call them by name,
I present them to the father, in Jesus name,
May they not be found naked, may they not be ashamed
When they stand before you on that great judgement day.
MAY JESUS BE THE LORD OF THE WHOLE EARTH.  AMEN
