IS THE HOLY SPIRIT YOUR SENIOR PARTNER?

Further to my blog last week on Church Planters, I made the point that we don’t sit around and watch Jesus build the Church, but HE WANTS TO BUILD THE CHURCH THROUGH US.
Sadly, we are living in a generation  where there are many man-made churches, using personality, and gimmicks and various formulae, and it is difficult to find Jesus in situation.
I am all for teaching and training, and anything else that will help a Church Planter build a local church, but we must never forget this essential truth:

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR SENIOR PARTNER AND WITHOUT HIM WE CAN DO NOTHING

It is good to remind ourselves that we are in the Kingdom of God today, because the Holy Spirit convicted us, and drew us into a living vital relationship with God. The Bible says the Holy Spirit does not speak of Himself, nor put the spotlight on Himself, but without Him the CHURCH IS AND CAN BE NOTHING.
Church Planter, you need the Holy Spirit to give you a VISION, and help you keep it progressive.
You need the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you in your ministry.
You need the Holy Spirit to QUICKEN  God’s Word to you so that every time you  preach, it is  a God Word for your congregation. I heard Dr. Yonggi Cho say,” I will never stand in the pulpit to preach  unless I have received a Rhema Word to preach”.
You need the Holy Spirit to ANOINT you and give you liberty and authority as you preach the Word.
You need the Holy Spirit to anoint the worship in the service.
You need the Holy Spirit to move  on people’s hearts to respond to the preached word, and for signs and wonders to follow the preaching of God’s word  Mark 16:20.
The list would go on and on  declaring all Holy Spirit wants to do in and through your life.

FROM START TO FINISH IT IS ALL ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Can I encourage everyone who reads this, whether you are in the ministry or not, to reaffirm THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS YOUR SENIOR PARTNER AND WITHOUT HIM YOU CAN DO NOTHING.

BUT WITH HIM YOU CAN BE A WORLD CHANGER
