ASKING FOR THE NATIONS
I cannot help as I am praying for Ministers and Ministries the Lord has connected me with,that I have the privilege of partnering with in prayer and they are from virtually every continent, but to think of the country/nation they are ministering in, and am reminded of the promise our Heavenly Father gave His son Jesus in Psalm 2:8 NKJV Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession. I love the MESSAGE paraphrase of the verse, What do you want? Name it: Nations as a present? continents as a prize?
As Believers we have a glorious inheritance purchased for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus, I want to suggest we can partner in prayer with the Lord and ASK FOR THE NATIONS, and ask for it as part of our inheritance for surely our heart’s desire should be that Jesus shall be Lord of every nation.
I am reminded of the words of James 4:2 NKJV you do not have because you do not ask. and the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened, The AMPLIFIED opens it up even more, Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.

WE ARE TO ASK AND KEEP ON ASKING
The enemy (Satan) wants to control nations, so a single prayer, is not sufficient, he will fight and keep on fighting for nations and the minds of men, and we must continue to contend against him, until our prayers release the nation/s to fulfil its God’s given plan and intention. There are NUMEROUS things that come to mind the enemy uses, to restrict and limit the Church in every nation.
THE THREAT OF WAR
South Korea lived under the threat of war for many years, thus it caused the Church to pray powerfully, so today, the largest Presbyterian, Methodist & Pentecostal churches in the world are in Seoul city.
PERSECUTION
Persecution in every generation and in almost every nation has again driven the Church to its knees, and caused the Church to grow ever stronger.
MATERIALISM
The standard of living and financial freedom, has sadly caused the Church to become too self reliant, and historically people and churches stop praying, and begin to live selfishly and start to forget God
WRONG TEACHINGS
As Believers stop reading and studying their Bibles, they become targets for all the heresies and false teachings that the enemy will spew out of the pit of hell, this literally leads the Church away from the power and blessing of God.
My heart aches, for the nations I pray for daily, like:
LAOS, CAMBODIA & VIETNAM, have been crippled by the spirits behind Communism and Buddhism, but Jesus shall be Lord of these nations.
THAILAND, I long to see spirits that have caused the blindness of the Thai people’s by Buddhism to be cast down and millions of Thais bow the knee and declare Jesus as Lord.
INDIA with well over 95% of the population deceived by Hinduism/Islam/Jainism and Buddhist, will one day see Jesus in all His power and glory.
THE MIDDLE EAST & INDONESIA so controlled by the spirits of Islam, but revival is coming Hallelujah
EASTERN EUROPE so gripped by “religion” and the spirits behind Communism still seem to linger, but hungry hearts are crying out for truth and reality.
Let us move in Intercession and spiritual warfare against every trick of the evil one, and see him driven back, and taking his grubby hands off the nations.
I could go on but won’t, except to mention my own country of Australia, and I echo the words of the chorus written by Chris Falson
I have a vision for this nation, we share a dream for this land, we join with angels in celebration, by faith we speak revival to this land
Where every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that You are Lord, give us an OPEN heaven, anoint our prayers this day, and move Your Sovereign Hand across this nation.
With the Lord helping me, I am going to daily ASK FOR THE NATIONS AND CALL THEM BY NAME, and will continue to pray until it comes to pass Amen
