A GLORIOUS PROMISE FROM GENESIS TO YOU AND ME.
The more we read the Word of God, the more we realise just how unique the Bible is, there is nO other book ever written, that comes even close to the Bible, the reason is the Holy Spirit lives in the Bible 2 Timothy 3:16 AMP N.T. Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),
We sang a chorus in Sunday School that may not have meant much to us then, but sure does now.
- Every promise in the book is mine,
- every chapter, ev’ry verse, every line,
- all are blessings of His love divine,
- every promise in the book is mine.
When we have prepared out heart with prayer, and begin to read meditate on the Word of God, The Holy Spirit in the Word of God witnesses with our spirit, and the Word can become personal and an awesome revelation to us.
I want to highlight a verse way back in Genesis 27:28 NKJV let us meditate on this verse and let it come alive as the Holy Spirit “turns the light on” and gives us revelation.
Therefore may God give you of the dew of heaven, of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine.
We pass this verse through the Cross and apply New Covenant truth it and we God promises His people,
The Dew of heaven, the blessed Holy Spirit to come and abide in us.
Fatness speaking of God’s favour and blessing upon His people.
The Grain, the finest of the Wheat that makes the Bread of Life (The Bible)
The Wine, speaking of the joy that comes from living and walking in the Spirit.
Simple, but so profound, enjoy it and live in it.
