DO YOU SEE GOD’S PLAN FOR YOU?
I have asked the question a few times in the last few months WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING? I have gone on,said that our Sovereign Lord is not surprised, He saw it all happening in eternity past, He has permitted this pandemic for a purpose, and there is no doubt a specific purpose for the Body of Christ, and we know so well Paul’s words to the Roman church and to us today from Rom. 8:28 NKJV And we know that ALL THINGS t work together for GOOD to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
So to me it is A WAKE UP CALL TO THE CHURCH, but I felt the Holy Spirit very clearly impress on my heart this morning, it is A WAKE UP CALL TO ME AND EVERY INDIVIDUAL BELIEVER. I regularly pray King David’s prayer in Psalm 139 :23-24 NKJV Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
Our God sure knows the inner recesses of our heart and Jeremiah reminds us in Jer.17:9 NKJV “The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked; who can know it?
NOT ONLY CAN THE ENEMY DECEIVE US, SO CAN OUR HEART, that is why we need to be always sensitive to the Holy Spirit”s voice and especially in times like this.
This highlights the need for us to be accountable on the horizontal, and to let let “fathers” speak into our lives, and for us to be open to hear if we have a “blind spot”
The Lord has started to put His finger on some things in my life, which by His grace I will be working through over the next few days and weeks.
There is no doubt that the Lord’s purpose is to work in the Believer’s life continually, but uses things like the pandemic and all that is associated with it so that we will understand and appreciate and appropriate the inheritance purchased for us, so that we BECOME MORE LIKE JESUS.
I want to leave a glorious promise with you today from Isaiah 43:19-21 NKJV.
Behold, I will do a NEW thing,
NOW it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
The beast of the field will honor Me,
The jackals and the ostriches,
Because I give waters in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert,
To give drink to My people, My chosen.
This people I have formed for Myself;
They shall declare My praise.
God’s broader purpose will surely always be not only to do a NEW THING in our lives personally, but that we will be a blessing to God’s people, and impact a lost and dying world. Amen.
