LIVING & WALKING IN THE ANOINTING (2)
Chinese New Year commences tomorrow (12th Feb.) and I have sent messages to hundreds of my Chinese & Vietnamese friends wishing them a very happy C.N.Y./TET and praying it will be a YEAR OF THE LORD’S FAVOUR ON THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES.
It is 45 years ago since I stepped on Asian soil for the first time, I did not know that first visit would grow literally into hundreds of visits (and living in Singapore for 2+ years. I am reminded of Reinhardt Bonnke’s vision today of a “BLOOD WASHED AFRICA, my many experiences in Asia has sure given me a vision for a BLOOD WASHED ASIA.
This vision has such a challenge as so many Asian nations have less than 2% Christians in their population, only South Korea has over 30% Believers in their population, we understand there is 100 million + Believers in China, out of a population of 1.4 billion, Vietnam has over 8% but this includes 7% Catholic. Thailand has only 1+% Believers in the nation, the enemy has billions in spiritual blindness.
Jesus told the disciples in Acts 1:8 N.L.T. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my WITNESSES, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
I am reminded of the statement:
CHRIST HAS NO HANDS BUT OUR HANDS TO DO HIS WORK TODAY, HE HAS NO FEET BUT OUR FEET TO LEAD MEN IN THE WAY, HE HAS NO TONGUE BUT OUR TONGUE TO TELL MEN HOW HE DIED, HE HAS NO HELP BUT OUR HELP TO BRING THEM TO HIS SIDE.
You will notice that the title of this blog is LIVING & WAlKING IN THE ANOINTING (2) as a follow on from yesterday’s blog on the importance of “staying under the spout where the glory comes out”, for it is only as we keep living and walking in the Spirit do we feel GOD’S HEART BEAT FOR A LOST AND DYING WORLD.
Our flesh and the deceptions of the “evil one” will keep our eyes on us and our needs and wants, and consequently no deep love for the unsaved, (sadly even our own unsaved family can be easily neglected).
I am reminded of the words of Jesus today from John 9:4 N.L.T. We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work.
PASSION While I am with you, it is daytime and we must do the works of God who sent me while the light shines. For there is coming a dark night when no one will be able to work.
MESSAGE We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over
Jesus said these words 2000 years ago, I think it is getting dark, it is time (overtime) we repent of our “disobedience” of fulfilling the Great Commission, and make a commitment that from today on we seek to fulfil Matt.6:33 AMP. N.T. But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these thingstaken together will be given you besides.
N.L.T. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
PASSION “So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.
MESSAGE Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
To seek first the Kingdom of God, is to make Jesus the CONSTANT RULER IN OUR LIFE, this means seeking to live and walk in the “anointing, BE OBEDIENT TO HIS WORD, and Jesus says we will not personally miss out in anything, we can declare with King David in Psalm 23:1 N.L.T. The Lord is my shepherd; I have ALL that I need.
PASSION The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough.
MESSAGE God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing.
It may be getting dark, but there is still time, we can see a mighty harvest, let us link our hands and hearts and be a part of the last great ingathering before Jesus breaks through the clouds, amen
