HOW STRONG ARE YOU?

By John Ollis

In just three months I will turn 80 years old, the last almost 70 years of knowing the Lord has been an awesome journey, and “I HAVE LIVED THE DREAM“, and seen the Lord’s leading In my personal life, and in my married life and in my ministry, taking me to over 25 different nations (some many many times), serving the Lord full time in Singapore for some years full time was unforgettable.

Since the time I stopped travelling and we moving into a Retirement Village and got adjusted to the major ministry changes, slowly but surely from a public ministry to more a private ministry of writing (blogging, and Intercession and Mentoring (mainly using technology), and having more time to spend in the Word of God, I must shout out I AM STILL LIVING THE DREAM, to God be all the praise and glory.

I take note of Psalm 73:26 NIV today My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,
but God remains the strength of my heart; He is mine forever.

AMP. O.T. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.

MESSAGE When my skin sags and my bones get brittle, God is rock-firm and faithful
I do know the importance of thankfulness, and that the Sovereign Lord is in control not only of global affairs (including the pandemic) but in my personal life, but I must echo with the Psalmist I am aware that my health is not what it used to be, my physical body is decaying and wearing out, but by the grace of God my spirit is ever growing stronger TO HIM BE ALL THE GLORY.

I want to declare with the Psalmist today:

18:32 NKJV It is God who arms me with strength,
And makes my way perfect.
He makes my feet like the feet of deer,
And sets me on my high places.

27:1NKJV The Lord is the strength of my life;

71:16 NKJV I will go in the strength of the Lord God;
I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only.

84:5 NKJV Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, who’s heart is set on pilgrimage
118:14 NKJV The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.

I conclude with the words of Paul 2 Cor. 12:9 NKJV “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY FOR EVER AND EVER
