REACHING A NEW MILESTONE
When I entered my 70’s I realised a transition would have to take place in my life and ministry, so I was not surprised when over 7 years ago the Lord very clearly led me into blogging. From day one I wanted to write blogs from a Pastoral perspective (definitely not too Theological) that would encourage and challenge God’s people and young ministry.
Tomorrow I turn 80 YEARS OLD, to be honest I can’t believe it, although my body tells me it is decaying, my mind and my spirit are still young. When I was a teenager to live until you were 80 was almost unattainable, and anyone who did get to that age was ancient.!!!
I have always sought not to spotlight myself in my blogs other than through testimonies and illustrations in my own life to emphasise the truth I was seeking to share.
The only reason I am reaching 80 years of age is because of THE ETERNAL GODHEAD, and that is where I put the spotlight today. Thank you Heavenly Father for your SO GREAT SALVATION, that You planned in eternity past and it included me. Thank You Jesus for Your SUPREME SACRIIFCE that purchased my Salvation which encompasses a glorious inheritance now and throughout all eternity, and that YOU EVER LIVE TO MAKE INTERCESSION FOR THE SAINTS. Thank you Holy Spirit, that You drew me and convicted me of my sin and gave me God’s grace and Faith to repent of my sin, and for almost 70 years you have been on my side, leading and guiding me and working in my life,.
TO THE ETERNAL GODHEAD I SAY THANK YOU FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY BEING, AND WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE THANKS THROUGHOUT ETERNITY, as I will be ever reminded AS I LOOK UPON the LAMB OF GOD Rev. 5:6 NKJV And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain. HE DID IT ALL FOR ME.
I have written a few times referring to Psalm 91:15 KJV
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him, and honour him.
WITH LONG LIFE I WILL SATISFY HIM,
and shew him my salvation.
This verse has been quickened to me, and at 80 (tomorrow) I am claiming long life, and all that transpires from now will be all TO THE GLORY OF GOD
There has been an increase for me in the area of Intercessory Prayer and Mentoring, and if the Lord wants to add anything else I am available.
