THANK YOU FATHER,SON AND HOLY SPIRT FOR YOUR SO GREAT SALVATION (3)
As we read1 Peter 1:23 NKJV we discover “having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever”, that the Word of God is integral and essential in a person becoming a born again Christian and experiencing GOD’S SO GREAT SALVATION.
A person must either sit under the preaching of the Word of God, or someone (often more than one person over a period of time) shares the good news (Gospel) with that person, and something will begin to happen, the Holy Spirit will cause the person for probably for the very first time, to become aware that they are a sinner, Jer.17:9 NKJ, tells us, The heart is deceitful above all things, above all things, Who can know it? Until this happens the person thinks they are doing fine. Then the Holy Spirit continues to move upon their heart, we read in Eph.2:8 NKJV For by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH, and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT OF GOD, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
When we hear and receive the Word of God we receive FAITH, Rom.10:17 NKJV then FAITH comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, There are two words in the Greek language for the word WORD, and the word here is RHEMA, this is means the Word of God becomes personal and real to us,
A common expression these days is having a LIGHT BULB EXPERIENCE, God turns on the light, and we see we are sinners, and we need forgiveness, and we receive the FAITH AND GRACE (God’s unmerited favour), TO REPENT. WE may simply say GOD BE MERCIFUL TO ME A SINNER, and instantly we experience the truth we read in 1 John 1:9 NKJV If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
A person knows without a shadow of doubt they have been BORN AGAIN, and their life is changed forever because of God’s so great Salvation
