MAY THE LORD SPEAK TO YOU THROUGH THIS SIMPLE BLOG, IT COULD BE THE START OF SOMETHING BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS.

By John Ollis

We know we cannot change the past, but with God’s help we can change the future. I have one major regret, and that is the fact that I was never Biblically Discipled. I guess that is at least one reason why I am so burdened that new Believers have a Disciple-Maker from the day they are born again. A person who has never been discipled can be like the “Australian Stock Exchange”, up one day and down the next.

There is no doubt that when the Church does not obey the Great Commission and “MAKE DISCIPLES” Matt. 28:18-20 NKJV that the Holy Spirit seeks to move in a New Believer’s life and begins a work of grace in their life. My concern is that the lack of strong Biblical Foundations can be a cause a person to go into deception or backslide and fall away from church and good Christian Fellowship. The sad reality is that the longer a person is without a Disciple-Maker, the less he is interested in being discipled.

If you have never been Discipled, it5 is not too late to start, please, email me on [email protected] and let us talk about it ok? Or please respond in the comments here in my website.

I wrote recently that after 71 years a Christian and a Minister I am seeing so clearly now, God’s so great Salvation and the INHERITANCE that is available to us from day one of our new Christian experience. This includes the WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD as recorded in Eph. 6:10-20 NKJV.

Phil. 1:6 NKJV the Apostle Paul declares “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ”. May we co-operate with the Lord more and more so that the Completion progress increases more and more, and we become like Jesus, in thought, and word and action.

Peter tells us an “incorruptible seed” was planted in us when we were born again, and the Holy Spirit wants to water that “seed” so that we “Grow in Grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. A wise Disciple-Maker can be used by the Holy Spirit to quicken up this process.

Can I encourage you to pray some of the simple prayers.

Father draw me and I will run after You.

Evert day Lord, I want to “grow in Grace”.

Father, give me a greater hunger for Your Word, and that I make time to meditate on Your Word.

Father, I want to be a partake of Your Holiness, and experience more the peaceable fruits of Righteousness.

The Lord will surely answer these prayers.

REMEMBER THE GOAL OF THE DISCIPLE-MAKER IS NOT TO JUST MAKE A DISCIPLE, BUT ALSO A DISCIPLE-MAKER
