SOME THOUGHTS THAT I TRUST WILL BLESS YOU.

In just a few months time, it will be 73 years ago that I was born again, and I knew without a doubt that I was a “new creation”. I was just 10 years old and the child of very ungodly parents. it was not a happy childhood. Many know the saying “HINDSIGHT IS 20/20 VISION”, and I look back over all these years, and see what an awesome journey it has been since that day when I was translated “out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s dear son”.

I was probably around 14 years old when I distinctly remember receiving a “call” to Ministry/ I had not received any Discipleship but had continued attending Sunday School and church (sometimes), I had to find another church when my parents moved away from where we had lived. My only real goal from then was to go to Bible College and train for Ministry, which I completed when I was 23+. My training and personal growth had given me some more understanding of the Christian life. I commenced Pastoral Ministry which continued for over 20 years, and then the Lord wonderfully led me into Bible College teaching Ministry. This was a truly blessed time in my life and it went on for over 30 years. It was a busy time which developed into a travelling Ministry which took me to over 25 different nations, some places many times over.

I guess officially I “retired” about 2019 when Covid was at its height. I could now relax and spend more time seeking to deepen my relationship with the Lord and His Word.. This blog is really about the fact that I have come to see THAT TRUTH AND UNDERSTANDING GROWS STRONGER THE OLDER ONE BECOMES AND MAKES THE TIME, TO MEDITATE ON THE WORD OF GOD. Jesus says in John 16:13 NKJV The Holy Spirit will lead us into ALL TRUTH.I want to list a number of TRUTHS that have come to mean so much more to me in these last few years. Yes, truth grows stronger and deeper as we let the Holy Spirit take the Word and let it become an ever-increasing revelation to us.

The Psalmist in Psalm 107:2 NKJV tells us LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO, and that is what I am doing here.

1. THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD Rom.8:28 NKJV tells us And we know that ALL things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the CALLED according to His purpose. ²⁹ For whom He foreknew, He also PREDESTINED to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. Nothing happens by chance or coincidence in our lives, everything that happens comes with God’s permission, and He wants to use it for His own purpose.
2. THE SOURCE OF FAITH Rom.10:17 NKJV tells us So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Paul uses the Greek word RHEMA for Word here, the written Word is called Logos in the Greek, but when the Holy Spirit QUICKENS the Word to us it becomes a Rhema Word which produces FAITH in our heart. In Eph.6:17 NKJV Paul tells us, Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word (Rhema) of God; The Rhema Word becomes a Sword as we move in faith to take our stand for truth in our lives.
3. GOD’S SO GREAT SALVATION. When we are born again we are so aware that our sins have been forgiven, it is often quite some time, how great and perfect (in every way is our Salvation).
   • WE HAVE AN INHERITANCE. Sadly many Believers think their inheritance is received when they enter heaven, but we have an inheritance NOW, this includes through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ we can walk in holiness and purity and victory over sin, spend much time meditating in the Epistles particularly and see ALL that is available to us now, even though we have an enemy (the evil one) who goes about like a roaring lion, James tells in James 4:7 NKJV Therefore SUBMIT to God. RESIST the devil and he will flee from you. Submission is an awesome key to embracing our inheritance, which includes the truth that there has been delegated to us the privilege as part of our inheritance NOW of using the NAME OF JESUS against the evil one, and he must flee, he knows very well the power of the unchanging Word of God, and as embrace this truth, we can say GOD SAID IT, I BELIEVE IT, I CONFESS IT, THAT SETTLES IT.
