TAKE THIS AS A PERSONAL PROMISE

A Pastor friend typed up a verse of Scripture and posted it to me on social media (I may have been just one of many he sent the verse too), This is the verse Exodus 34:10 NKJV And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.

As I read it I was so blessed. We know our God is a Covenant making and a Covenant keeping God who made numerous Covenants with His people, and we are now under what the writer of the Book of Hebrews calls a BETTER COVENANT. We often refer to it as the NEW COVENANT. Now we believe every word in the Bible is the Word of God, but when it comes to much of what is written in the Old Testament we need to take the verse/s and pass it through the Cross and apply New Covenant principles to it, and the Holy Spirit will quicken the Word to us, and it becomes a personal Rhema Word to us.

Two things stood out to me “I will do marvels among you: and this verse was wonderfully fulfilled in that generation.. I believe (with all my heart) God wants to do marvellous things in and through me and through His people in these days. This was wonderfully quickened to my heart.

So much has happened in these first three weeks of 2019, I have been overwhelmed at the blessing and leading of the Lord.

God concludes :it is an awesome thing I will do among you”this put such an excitement in my heart. 

The challenge to me personally is that I have the personal strength and spiritual sensitivity to recognise all that God wants to do and that I can fully co-operate with the Lord to let it all happen.

I have actually sent out prayer requests that physically my health will be such that I can truly fulfil the Lord’s will in my life at this time.
