Let us give some thought today to what we read in Isaiah 40:28-31 NKJV

Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Have you ever had the experience of wondering where God is, in a particular situation, the devil wants us to think that God has abandoned us, Isaiah is reminding us today, that our God NEVER GROWS TIRED AND WEARY, He is intimately involved in everything that happens in our life, that is why we read in Rom. 8:28-30 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Isaiah reminds us today that God wants to give POWER TO THE WEAK AND INCREASE OUR STRENGTH, We must WAIT on the Lord, we must learn to have quality time in prayer every day and the result will be that OUR STRENGTH IS RENEWED. I have come to see that WITHOUT THE LORD I CAN DO NOTHING OR BE ANYTHING IN HIS KINGDOM.

Just as we need to keep our smart phone charged so we need to be in constant “connection” with the Lord, and what is the result????

We will mount up with wings like eagles

We will run and not be weary

We will walk and not faint

I am nearly 82 and aging is effecting my physical body, I sure cannot run, or even walk much, but every day my spirit is quickened and refreshed as I spend time in the Lord’s presence.

Do you want more spiritual strength??? then plan to daily spend time in His presence, and even ask for more strength James reminds us in James 4:3NKJV “You do not have because you do not ask”.

Peter reminds us in 1 Peter 1:3-4 NKJV His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Our God’s SO GREAT SALVATION makes available to us EVERYTHING, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, we must ask and obey the Word, and He promises in Phil.4:19 NKJV And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

As the NIKE slogan expresses JUST DO IT and you will experience what God has promised amen.
